What items are prohibited from being placed in the dumpster?
Prohibited items include wet paints, hazardous chemicals, automotive oils, fuels, car batteries, tires, Freon-containing appliances (unless certified evacuated), asbestos, and propane tanks. Standard building materials, furniture, household junk, shingles, and yard waste are 100% permitted.
How long is the standard rental period?
Our standard flat-rate rental includes 7 to 14 days. If you complete your project sooner, simply call us for early pickup. If you need extra time, flexible daily extensions are available at low daily rates.
Do I need a city permit to have a dumpster placed in Spring Hill?
If the dumpster is placed on your private driveway, no permit is required. If the container must be placed on a public street or city right-of-way, a temporary permit from the Spring Hill Public Works Department may be required. We can assist you with right-of-way placement guidelines.
